TITLE: Quality Supervisor

General Summary: Handle and coordinate with QA and QC on different production lines. Figure out the better improvement method.

Job Duty of Quality Supervisor:

QC
– Review the inspection report and data about any quality deviation, when there is necessary, set up a meeting to discuss how to fix the problem with the production line.
– Closely work with the production line to handle the quality issue. i.e., incoming quality variance, semi-finished problem.
– Once received quality issue is received. Will conduct a quality improvement meeting with the production line to find out the root cause and improvement action.
– Prepare monthly quality performance reports and send out
– Monthly review meetings with the production line

QA
– Lead QA team member to implement the QA process in the target production line.
– If a colleague has a problem in the production line, the supervisor will figure out corrective action.
– Review and audit the QA data. If there is high deviation, the supervisor will work with the production line on how to improve the QA process.
– With the monthly QA review meeting, instruct the production line on where the main problem is to work to improve the WIP quality.
– Work with the Engineering Team to solve production issues

Administration
– Organize team manpower and establish a weekly inspection schedule
– Process monthly administrative documents for team members

Job Requirement:

– Higher Diploma or above in a manufacturing-related field is preferred
– With eyewear industry experience, it is advantageous
– Min. 5 years’ experience in a quality-related field
– Will work in different factories daily
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
– Committed attitude and able under pressure
– May travel to different locations within the country or other countries (within SE Asia) for work when necessary
– Fluent English is preferred
– Fluent Mandarin is preferred
– Basic MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills are a must
– Immediate availability is highly preferred
– Submitting a resume in English is a must
