Responsibilities

To apply an independent, pro-active and self-motivated manner in analysis of sketches and other information provided to produce timely, accurate, co-ordinated architectural CAD drawings good for purpose of authority submission, tendering, construction & as-built record.

· To produce co-ordinated schedules and/or other relevant architectural design documents.

· To input good knowledge of local codes and practices into produced documents and drawings.

· To evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria independently using good judgement.

· To assist in proper co-ordination, communication and distribution of architectural design intent to all relevant persons (internal and external) with strong emphasis on early stage conflict resolution and avoidance of abortive design work, construction work and cost.

· To participate actively and productively in following types of meetings on ad-hoc, weekly and fortnightly basis as required:

(a) Design co-ordination meeting with internal and external teams to review design requirements, changes, schedule, budget, authority approvals, value engineering, manpower & resources.

(b) Project co-ordination meeting with client and his external consultants.

(c) Site meetings with Site Management Team and sub-contractors.

· To take meeting notes for immediate follow-up action and to assist in preparation of detailed minutes of meeting for distribution to relevant parties.

· To assist the Site Management Team with regular checking of architectural design intent and quality by means of snag-lists and/or other formats of written communication.

· To assist during construction in the review of shop-drawings, material samples and other submittals for compliance and co-ordination with architectural design intent described in drawings and specifications.

· To assist to obtain completion certificate for the project.

Requirements

· Minimum 5 years relevant experiences.

· Bachelors, and ideally Masters, degree qualified in Architectural or a relevant subject.
