Discusses video project plans with subject matter specialist, producer and director to determine the appropriate video editing. Use computer-controlled video editing systems to prepare video clip and 3D animation object for the project. New creating and drawing and animated 3D object or graphic as required. Assists with and preforms associated studio production work such as operating audio, cameras, and lighting sets. Serves as video editing consultant and troubleshooter. Performs related work as required.
Considerable knowledge of the methods, video equipment and techniques used in the video editing field and 3D animation. Considerable knowledge of the uses, operations, and limitations of video editing system (Mac System ) and related equipment. Ability to effectively communicate ideas orally and in writing. Ability to visualize production scripts and other verbal or written instructions. Ability to effectively operate and maintain video editing systems and equipment.
