DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Technical / Office Manager – Cambodia – Working with a large number of factories over a wide range of products and high responsibility – Office-based but with daily visits to factories RESPONSIBILITIES: FOLLOW UP ON CUSTOMER RTM’S AND BULK RTM’S WITH FACTORY FOR HIGH RISK AREAS – CARRY OUT QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AUDIT IN FACTORY AND FOLLOW UP WITH CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN – CARRY OUT PRE-PROD MEETING, PILOT RUN, INLINE INSPECTION ON BULK PRODUCTION TO CONTROL QUALITY – INITIATE AND DRIVE QUALITY PROJECTS INTO FACTORIES – IDENTIFY NEW SOURCING OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMPANY AND FEEDBACK TO TECHNICAL MANAGER – REGULAR COMMUNICATION AND UP DATES WITH COMPANY’S HONG KONG OFFICE AND UK OFFICE – WEEKLY MEETING AND CATCH UP WITH OFFICE TEAM FOR WORK/PROGRESS UPDATE
REQUIREMENTS: • Garment Technologist specializing in True Knitwear with at least 5 years experience in this field.
– Fluent in both English and Chinese
• Knowledgeable and up to date with latest developments in the garment industry
• Ability to build strong relationships with UK Head Office buyers and technologists, Hong Kong Regional office, and suppliers in country.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Work as part of a team in the Cambodia Regional office.
• Managing and Influencing decisions (both internal and external)
