Job Descriptions:

– Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
– Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
– Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
– Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment
– Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
– Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
– Other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, or part ACCA qualified, is an advantage
– At least three years of related experience
– Fluency of English, both orally and in writing
– Chinese literacy is a must
– Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
– Experience with the preparation of financial statements
– Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process
– Having external audit working experience is a plus
– Excellent accounting software (QuickBooks) user and administration skills
